off tangent responses / myLot

i posted a discussion of what i feel as my personal tragedy: my recurring dandruff. and this person, one with about 3,000 posts responded with a totally off tangent topic. to wit: space car something. i felt offended. here i am sharing something very personal, trying my best to keep my discussions interesting and worthy of myLot, and i get that kind of response. jeez. maybe the person made a mistake. but. oh dear im so upset.

Hello galatea..... Sorry that happened to you, but it's fairly common. It is exactly one of the types of things that mylot wants you to rate negatively and report. Check the do's and don'ts list to see for yourself. No one can see who rates or reports so you cannot be harassed by them for it. Not rating or reporting the things that should be is NOT following mylots policies. They want, and ask for, our help weeding out the garbage. Tom

thank you so much, i feel better now. and yes im going to report that person. i was about to give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was a mistake. at 3,000 he mustve relied on copy pasting from his notepad and had about windows open on mylot. but its still negligence.
