My friends husband just passed away and she has no money comming in at all--not even life insurance because he said he didn't care what happened after he died. She is a wonderful person and has a son to put through college, as well as other bills...her hubby died of Cancer. She is not a computer person at all and has never worked outside the home. She wants a job stuffing envelopes from home but we have no idea how to get into that...plus many places are scams. I don't want to give her bad advice or make her loose money. So, please PLEASE help only if you know of a place that I can give her contact information for that is legitimate. If you are unsure, don't post please. I know there are so many scams out there, so maybe if there is one you used yourself and it did work would be great. Whoever gives us the answer that leads to an actual paying job (stuffing envelopes would be ideal) will get best responce. I will rate everyone of course. Again, thank you so much for helping out my friend!

First things first, is she compleytely incapable of getting a job outside the home in the wider marketplace? I know many of us would love to work from home but if she needs mony badly she should probably first of all sign up with a temping agency and take whatever jobs they can find her to make ends meet. I don't know what country she is in, but in the UK she would also needt o be talking to social services to make sure her council tax etc reflects her current situation. THe son at college may also need to look at a part time job to help pay his own way. As for working from home, what are her skills? What can she offer a potential employer? She needs to perfect her CV, even if she hasnt worked in years she will still have valuable skills to put on there, and its a buyers market these days so she needs as much advice as you can get her on how to present herself at job interviews. Best of luck!

Thanks for the response, however there are no temp agencies around here. We live in a super tiny town of barely 400...towns nearby are about the same size. I figure if this is what she wants, and have talked to her about other job possibilities, then it is her choice. I am just trying to help her out by trying to find at home work for her.
