Dont and i repeat dont sign anything yopu got from his lawyer. The way these lawyers are now adays the way they word things you could wind up losing more than you think. The judge will determaine the child support byhis income. If he makes good money you might get more than what you are asking. SO PLEASE SEE A LAWAYER. 9 times out of 10 he will get out of paying for your lawyer

Get an Attorney those are his children and you have to protect the children. If he doesn't want to give you child support and alimony he is a RAT and deserves to go to court on this issue. Don't sign anything, let the judge decide.

First of all DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING from him or his lawyers. Know your rights. He is the one asking for the divorce so yes you can get a lawyer and have him pick up your lawyer tab you just have to find the right lawyer who will do that. as far as your children what you get in child support depends on what he makes per year.If he has dropped his pay so that he wont have to pay much in support then make sure you let the judge know this and request his last 2 years of w-2's and tax records so that the courts can go with those figures. Spousal support depends on your state laws and whether they allow it or now. Do not bend over for him stick to your ground and dont let him screw you over.

I think he should be happy that's all you are asking for! I don't get anything for child support or anything. And it's hard doing it on your own with no help. I would go and talk to someone about this and get what you need to take care of you and your children. Best of Luck

i just got divorced and we have 4 kids together ---my oldest lives with him my second kid lives with me and we have joint of the other two. i tried to get a lawyer and they all wanted to charge me 1500.00 to file- i had no job, no money and when i kicked him out he would make me beg for milk money when the kids were all staying with me,.... needles to say, his family loaned him the money to get a lawyer and he claimed that in the state of idaho the child support goes off who has the kids overnight.. he is 100% disabled for the military so he gets 100% dis ability but plays golf everyday and spend hundreds on new clubs...i can't even buy a new bra i only make 1640 a month and he makes almost 3000.00 tax free. we went to ordered parenting classes and it did state money goes off who has kids overnight. since i picked a shift at work 4am to 1230pm so i can make a little more money an hr and be with the kids after school, i still got shafted- only get 84.00 a month for a 15 yr old! i'm pissed and spend most my $ on the kids=-- this is horrible thing to go through.

DO NOT SIGN ANY THING you need to talk to an attorney, you should be able to go to the state or find a legal aid agency. You have a right to get support for those kids. You should be able to also find out if Georgia is a spousal support state through the courthouse there. Just what ever you do DO NOT AGREE TO ANYTHING without having some legal representation.
