a yo yo Christian? You feel up when things are good and down when things are down. The bible says that we need to be stable in all our ways. Are you being stable or unstable?

i think it's extremely difficult to remain joyful when all else is falling apart. i think it is where God's grace will come in. i guess i do have tendencies to be a yo yo Christian but I don't beat myself too hard for it. Instead, I try to channel my worries and convert it to prayer so that I will feel less inclined to be in despair and more inclined to receive His grace in the situation. i find it a comforting thought to think of hard times this way: this is a major test from God. and the fact that He gave me this test means that He believes in me this much. He believes that I can overcome it.

I'm the same way but I'm working on being stable, but it is so hard. We just have to keep praying and seeking God and we will continue to grow.

I am a christian. period, nothing can take that away from me. Whether I am up or down, my salvation does not depend on that it depends on faith.

I would say my emotions are sometimes yo yo I am up sometimes and down sometimes but I do not think I am a yo you Christian - whether up or down I know His love for me and that I can go to Him no matter what my mood. All I need to do is go to Him in prayer.

I consider myself a yo yo atheist. Sometimes Christians depress me, and sometime I just laugh at them.
