My spouse keeps telling me that I shouldn't wash cloths during the day becuase it costs more money. Is this really true? I mean I've heard it before but doea anyone have any proof. Why? To me it would cost more to do it at night becuase thats when there would be the most demand for electricity, right?

I think the demand is in the day time with businesses using a lot, then in the evening when people are getting home. The best time I would guess would be between 11pm and 7am.

You could toss it in when you go to bed. Depending on where you live, you can hang your clothes out to dry.
