The same thing happened to me and I used the free security download that aol offers. So, if you don't have an aol account, you can sign up for free and then, download their anti-virus for free. It is complete with adware, spyware and virus etc.

I use Norton System Works. One of the best on the market. More than anti-virus in this package. Good luck with it.

I use NOD32. www.nod32.com It's not free, but I find it cheaper to buy the online subscription to nod32 than buying any antivirus software from the shops in Australia. It's worth checking out. They seem to update their software at least once a day. I've had absolutely no problems at all with it. Go to the website, and download a free 30 day trial. Then you can decide for yourself. I did ask once if free antivirus software was any good. I got a good chuckle, and "you get what you pay for". So for me, it's well worth it.
