one at the dealership, they said it would cost $63.95 for a new one, an additional half hour charge of $15.00 labor to "program it" plus the cost of the battery. This seems a little excessive to me for a replacement. Does anyone know if you can get one cheaper and where? Thanks!

if your car is less than 3 years old, it would be under waranty i would think.. mine did the same thing, and it was replaced for free. check it out.

I had this same problem but mine was covered under the warranty as well. Now I am having a similar problem with my remote for my computer. I think it was around for my laptop spill (http://mailyourpc.com) and now I am probably going to have to buy a new one.
