Recue Bengals

I want everyone out there to know about the joy of adopting a rescue Bengal. Most people want kittens, but with a Bengal, its almost better to get a rescue. First, lets start with the obvious. These animals, for some reason or another, are homeless. These animals need help more than any others. But not all rescues are homeless. Some are retired breeders, or Bengals that undesirable traits for breeding (long hair being a big one.) Another thing you have to think about is Bengal cats are bred from a wild cat. As a kitten, you have to be constant on watching them and training them and making sure they understand right and wrong. With an older cat, they are already trained and are far less destructive. Think about it

I love animals and this sounds like something I would like to look into, how would I go about getting information and adopting?

I have had 2 rescue bengals, sadly both have passed away now. But I can't say enough positive things about the breed. They were so bonded to each other, and just great pets. I also think rescue cats of any breed are often a better idea than a kitten. Of course kittens are cute & extra fuzzy, but adults are (usually) mellow & trained.
