I have Been thinking today about what matters in life , about the stresses and how we can get rid of them , about our families and what we can do ,then I found this xx
No moving parts, no batteries.
No monthly payments and no fees.
Inflation proof, non-taxable,
in fact it's quite reliable.
It can't be stolen, won't pollute,
one size fits all, do not dilute.
It uses little energy,
but yields results enormously.
Relieves your tension and your stress,
invigorates your happiness.
Combats depression, makes you beam
and elevates your self esteem.
Your circulation it corrects
without complicated side effects.
It is, I think, the perfect drug.
May I prescribe, my friend. . . . . . the hug!

i am not so fond of poems as i find them difficult to understand bu this one i did. i think it is one thing which says so much. you can express without words. also it lets u get some support in difficult times. when words are not enough..a hug is:)

Yes we all need a hug it does not cost anyone anything to show affection to our family and friends, it is something we all need and require so that we are felt that we are loved so thank you for your discussion and a big hug to you too Weemam, xx

Awwww ..... This is wonderful and very true and i thank you for sharing!! It is funny how something as simple as a hug can feel so fulfilling and meaningful. It puts a smile on your face and keeps you happy throughout the day!

We had a movie in India called Munnabhai MBBS. It was a lovable movie of a gangster who falls in love with a doctor. He enrolls himself as a student by foul means, all very funny and finds himself faced with real problems faced by common people and how he fights for them. In that movie also he gives hugs freely to everyone from the sweeper to the doctors. He calls it the Jadu ki Chappi, meaning the magical hug. Wonderful movie with eye opening problems which should be resolved by hugs.
