Recently in my online class we were asked if we supported gay rights and explain why we feel the way we do about it. I didnt even have to think about what i was gonna say because i have strong feelings and thoughts on this subject. I do support gay rights 100%. I think gay people should be able to marry adopt, and be entitled to everything a man and woman couple are. I dont see gay people any differnt then a straight person at all. I have a sister who is gay, and i love her to pieces. She is 43 years old and has a nice g/f and they have a wonderful group of gay friends i also know. I dont look at my sister and her friends as some creatures. Because they are all human. They to have feelings and thoughts on things. Just because people are gay dosnt mean they should be punished by society because their gay. After I was asked that question and responded with my answer backing up why i support it, which was more longer then what i wrote up there, and all of a sudden I had a group of people verbaly attack me because of how i support gay rights. I then replied with you asked you got my answer so just take it or leave it. I will not change how i feel or think just because some people expect that out of me.
