am i the only one who thinx these words are so wrong? i mean it's like giving someone a FREE TRIAL before the "purchase". the trial version will expire in 14 days. . . haha the way i see it, its like 2 persons get 2gether 2 try out the goodies, have a nice "f##k" and then if it works it works, if not they just say good-bye and that will be it, seeking anew adventure. i prefer the word lover or better half. wut do u think?

lol well if i introduced him to my parents as my lover, they would have a fit. if i introduced him to my parents as my better half, they would be over the moon because that implies some sort of engagment -- and he'd be out the door. i call him my boyfriend because thats what he is and has been for over three years. we aren't together to try things out, we are together because we love each other.

The word boyfriend or girlfriend gives an honest and precise discreption of the relationship especially in the beginning. The word doesn't bother me and yes it is a trial period, why must we call it otherwise, i think when the relationship gets warmer and more intimate, the word 'lover' is more apporpriate.
