I have used mild dishwashing soap in warm water on small spots and had very good luck. You might want to try it first on a piece of carpet behind a door just in case, but unless the spot is over a large area, I don't think you will have any problem. I have used both Joy, and Crystal White. They are less expensive than regular carpet spot removers. Good luck.

Ill try it. I was surprised at how some of the ones I bought dont even smell good really. I could handle that if it would get the stains out.

Make a diluted solution of bleach and water. Test on a corner area. Use a toothbrush right on the stain, and blot with a towel. Don't rub.

I have had good results with "Resolve". I use it in my steam cleaner and also as a spot remover.
