Negative Responses

It is unfortunate fact that there will always be people who will base the rating on their own different view point, and if they feel you are wrong for having a view point that is different than their own. I personally just will not rate a view point I disagree with strongly and have only given negative response when I feel a strong sense of judgement or disrespect to a topic. I have not actually given a negative rating on this site because fortunately so far I have not found that. Hopefully you will not encounter that in the future. I gave you positive rating for this topic. I did read the topic in question and thought that it may have come across more agressivley than you might have wished, it did seem to me to be a question rather than accusation. I do not think some people realize that at times they do in fact come across as being narrow minded and judgmental when they make a post, since the post you are referring to did not appear to do this, I wonder what caused some to find offense.

Hello Macthedj..... The fact that your rating was reduced may not be the result of a discussion you started. It is possible that someone elses discussion that you responded to might have been removed for some reason, which would also remove any responces to that discussion, causing your reduction. It could also have been more than one that was removed. Tom

Which discussion was that? Usually if people reported you to mylot, mylot will decide what your star should be. Most of the time this happens when they are doing "housekeeping" now and then. If you are generating discussions and yet ended up insulting other people's religion or opinion, it will backfire on yourself. I'm sure those animal abusers have marked me negative and reported me to mylot for yelling at them, but my star is never down, since mylot didn't see anything wrong with my opinions.
