What did you do when you accidentally farted in a public place?

Ooopss ... - Farting in public

Sometimes there is too much gas in the stomach that there's no way to go but to bring it out ... even in the places that you should not be releasing it. Have you experience farting in public? Did they noticed that it was you? What did you do to avoid the humiliation?

Yes that has happened to me. In a store standing in the aisle passing gas oh the horror! I hoped and prayed silently that no one would pass by where I was standing. I was like God don't let anyone walk this way, keep'em away! Please! Or I walk really fast trying to remove myself from the stench! LOL!

Hahaha. Kids really puts us on the spot. I find it funny to see the reaction upon smelling the "unsmellable".

lol! I really don't have plans what to do when I farted in public. Maybe I'll cover my face and then leave the place quickly. People around would then realize that it was a part of human nature and it is natural for us to feel humiliated after having such incidence.

Why is it that natural body functions such as farting, belching, or the need to blow one's nose is considered wrong? Granted I do not want to be around someone who is lethal with their odors. And I don't really want to see someone pick their nose, but if you have to blow your nose grab a tissue and do so, if your body reacts in a way that is natural in the body's best interests for health then why is is wrong? I have a group of friends on a pool team, they named the team socially unexceptable, many on the team smoke, some drink socially while not to dangerous levels enough to enjoy the buzz, and then we have a team mate whom we joking referred to as a super hero his power is his atomic release of gas, both belching and farting. While there are times when we would love to disown him and he does his friends the courtesy of stepping outside due to the stench, none of feel the need to see him humiliated for his medical conditions. To avoid the humiliation accept yourself for who you are and realize that it is a natural part of life, if that is to difficult for you, then if you hopefully have a advanced warning then go to the nearest bathroom, or step away if you can. If you are in a elevator this could be a problem.

I agree that these are all natural. Sometimes though, people prefer to do this in private ... in order to spare the others from what is really not pleasant to them. The "classic elevator" scenario is a tough one ... how would you handle it?
