Is there a place for retirees like Carlyle Place? Senior living w/ activies?

My mother is 80 yrs old and still very active. She wants to move to the Macon area where her children are. However, she would like a place where seniors have "things" to do. There about 7 or 8 places in Macon. The ones she likes don't have the activities part. Does Perry have anything like Carlyle Place, but not so expensive? I would love some input. Thanks!
