Have you ever talked to someone who have a bad breath but they are not actually aware of it? Personally, I knew when there are times that my breath can smell different after eating foods with garlic, onions, and so forth. I am still aware of it so I prefer to have mints. However, some people's breath could really stink! Even if you talked to them in such distance...you could still smell how bad their breath was. How do you react on this situations?
Here are some facts about halitosis...
Transient bad breath is a very common temporary condition caused by such things as oral dryness, stress, hunger (ketosis), eating certain foods such as garlic, onions, and cheese, smoking, or poor oral hygiene. "Morning breath" is a common example of transient bad breath. Transient bad breath gradually disappears on its own, with the aid of chewing gum or brushing one's teeth.
Chronic bad breath is a more serious and persistent condition affecting up to 25% of the population in varying degrees. It can negatively impact the individual's personal and business relationships, leading to poor self-esteem and increased stress. This condition is usually caused by persistent overpopulation of certain types of oral bacteria, primarily Streptococcus mutans, and requires specialised treatment. Xerostomia (dry mouth syndrome) will increase bad breath problems.
Fetor hepaticus is a type of severely bad breath caused by chronic liver failure.
Currently, chronic halitosis is not very well understood or even recognized as a treatable condition by most physicians and dentists, so effective treatment is difficult to find. There are a growing number of bad breath clinics responding to this endemic problem; unfortunately, most are simply outlets for one breath product or another

i think that most people who think they have this could actually just solve it by using a little peroxide when they brush in the morning.

I think a chronic halitosis is a different type of bad breath. It comes from within like inside a human organs so peroxide is not helpful at all.
Thanks for responding!

Common bad breath can be resolved by munching cloves.Bad breath may also be caused due to some internal problems like you said.So if you have it please go to the doc and check yourself up.

What?
Did you read my post right? I didn't say I have it okay...well you should know yourself that it is a fact that some people's breath can smell different after eating some foods with garlic or onions. Duh! So you never eat any food with garlic or onions on it so you never smelled your breath to smell different? Very lucky you! I assume Indians may smell different too since they love to eat spicy foods especially with curry on it. Am I right?
Next time, instead of just reading a post...you got to understand it too okay! A little comprehension is a must!

Halitosis more often than not signifies a deeper problem. And sometimes, halitosis comes from hunger (That's why when I smell someone with bad breath, I would ask, "Are you hungry?" and he would say yes).
