Im currently about to start a work out plan to get back into shape. I plan on using free weights for weight training, and bicycling and running on a tread mill. I hope to drop 20 pounds of weight while gaining muscle. What does your workout consist of?

For me, I try to maintain my fitness by going for a weekly run. It would be about 3-10km depending. I also play with dumbbells when I get into the mood :P and do push-ups quite frequently.

I need to be more consistent with mine, I might work out regular for a week or two then might slack on it for one to three weeks, terrible I know. When I do work out I do 3 reps of 30-40 push-ups of varying styles (regular, wide arm, diamonds), 3 sets of 50 sit-ups of varying styles (regular, crunch, rocky), and on alternating days I run 2-4 miles depending on the time that I have. I have a small set of free weights that I will use occasionally.

i am slim so dont have to worry much about the weight loss, although i have gained some fat around my stomach, initially i started by exercising for 5 minutes daily and then i shifted to yoga, which i now do for about half an hour

I do need to get back into a work out routine. I always did feel healthier when I was doing circuit training - right now my pretty much daily exercise is shoveling snow and chopping up ice on the decks/landings -- now THAT is a workout! lol

my workout usually consists of 12 sit ups then a 30 second break then repeat about 5 or 6 times about 30 push in reps of 10 each and just general use of my freeweights working on my biceps one day and my triceps the next. I may also go for a jog if im feeling up to it
