Has anyone ever seen the anime Berserk?

I think the anime series Berserk was one of the best I've seen. I wish they would've made it longer than 26 episodes. (correct me if I'm wrong) The characters were so in-depth and there were plot twists I don't think anyone saw coming. The animation was well done too. It was a bit gorey, but still good. The still shots that happened during dramatic scenes was very artistic.

i saw some comics and i played it on Gamecube at my friend home, it looks great, unluky the series aren't on my country, i'm courious to see if it comes on our tv

I watched the anime years ago and all I can say is that it was intense. It was one of the first anime series I watched and it blew me away with all that blood and gore. That was stuff I was just not used to when dealing with animation at the time. But I'd have to agree that the series is a bit underrated here. Can't really blame it since there wasn't any promotions or exposure for it, not like with those mainstream titles of today. It was more of a word of mouth thing back in the days (I feel old for some reason, anime wasn't as popular here in the US when I first started watching them).

Yeah, I do too. Maybe the reason why it's underrated is the fact that it came off as an incomplete anime. The anime only covered not even half of the manga and I wish another anime would come out soon for the continuation of the manga. A lot of people who've watched this anime don't know that there's a manga version of it. Even I didn't know at first. I wish it'd be more popular because the plot is amazing.
