it's the mylot organizers who computed your earnings!...but in my onw experienced, 1 cent is equivalent to one post!...there are terms and conditions, does and dont's in posting!....see the mylot rules and regulations, it stated there how to earn more money and some effective techniques!lolz....

The ways to get maximum earnings are as follows:
1) Start Quality Discussions 2) Respond with quality responses, one liners are not quality. Don't respond with"yes" "no" "Maybe" or "Me to" or "I don't know" these violate mylot rules and could be deleted. 3) By uploading picks in to the interest section that are relevant to the interest and that you own the copywrite to. You can also upload pics into the discussions you start, and after you have posted 500 responses you will be allowed to upload pics into the discussions others start.
Mylot periodically deletes both responses and discussions for not following the guidelines. When this happens your earnings are affected along with the number of responses.
To earn the maximum for the above their are few other things to remember, mylot is looking for full participation. You should rate the responses in you discussions with the "+" "-" "!" buttons you can find the rules to rating in the guidelines, you DON'T rate a person a "-" just because they don't agree with you. Pick a best response to your discussions. Getting best responses can earn you more also.
When responding to others discussions remember to rate the discussion and the responses according to the guidelines.
After posting 100 responses you will receive a star with a number in it, this will be your mylot reputation. The numbers range from 1 to 10 the higher the number the higher the reputation, some believe that the higher the number the more you earn. You gain the star by how others rate your responses and your discussions.

That was a great reply. I appreciate your respond and it indeed makes me feel a little less lost in this entire puddle. :)
can you also explain how will we be paid and after how much time/amount? I am in India, how and when will i be paid?

As it looks like you just started and have probably not made it to the $10.00 pay out, you will have to wait which just means you have that much longer to add to your earnings. I to had this happen to me. From the time you started you will have until March 31 to reach the $10.00 payout. Mylot pays by either Pay Pal or E- Gold, depending on where you are from. I don't know if Pay Pal is available in India or not, but at the bottom of this page, in one of the links it takes you to a page and explains the pay out, it might be in the earnings section, their is a link their to Pay Pal and I think to e-gold. I will be receiving my first check from mylot on or before the 15th of March, that is their pay out the 15th of the month for the prior months earnings. Last month mylot paid out I believe it was the 9th, everyone was very happy to see their earnings early for Valentines! :)I will be happy to help in any way that I can.

I would like to add because of the below post, I receive more than .01 for my postings, each person receives differently based on different criteria, each day changes. It's impossible to figure out. On days that I have started 2 quality discussions that got 25 or more responses in 24 hours and a few picture uploaded and responded to 15 to 35 discussions and received a best response or 2 I've earned over $2, the average for me on active participation is between $1.40 and $1.90 a day.
