Faith is a powerful human tool. What do you believe and do you live it? I cannot imagine living my life without God. He is such a powerful force for me and He has definitely shaped the person I have become. Tell me about your Faith and your belief in God.

You are entitled to your beliefs. But I am always curious why people think there is or isn't a god. I believe because it helps center my life and I like the idea of a promised after life which may or may not be there.

Yes, I do want to know. we all have different beliefs and we have lived life very differently. So, how we reach conclusions and believe are all part of the life experience.

I think that this world is nothing but a bi world. A world of hope and fulfillment. Sometimes it became also a world of catastrophe and soreness. But God is present in both worlds. I only answer I could perhaps show is just our world of freedom creates the possibility. It is true that in some aspects of our life. there is no freedom. WE do not choose our life to be here on earth. We do not choose our parents, the country of our birth nor the conditions of our upbringing. Most of us choose to die. We choose some aspects that may lead our life stronger. but beyond the real of choicelessness still we have the will to choose that best for us is either what we do or what we refuse to do. We choose how we shall live courageously or in cowardice, in good luck or in misfortune, responsively or not, morally or not. And so with these choice that we make we have transformed our life. For me, the decisions that I make should be christ oriented. Why, becuase we love God never lead us astray. God is the truth the life and the source of our conscience that forwarns us of the consequences that may occur in case we are in the wrong direction. We should follow this will.

I too am a christian and believe that the bible is the main tool for living in todays world, despite people's attempts to discredit it. Even historian's like Tacitus (who was not a christian) who were recording events around the time Jesus was on Earth confirm that there was indeed a person by the name of Jesus and that he did indeed claim to be the Son of God. This leaves only two possible avenues a) either Jesus was who he said he was i.e the Son of God and who came to this world for each of us personally or he was a complete an utter mad man CS Lewis puts is brilliantly "On the level of a person who thinks he's a fried egg". Personally I believe in the former, but I accept that others will disagree.
