PlayStation 3 loses all Emotion in Europe

The European version of Sony's console won't let gamers play many old hits. Sony says it's focusing on new titles. Will it succeed?

The PS2 already had a bad working down compatibility so it doesn't matter for me. I only don't like the current price. I just wait until it get's cheaper so I can buy it. I would keep my PS2 anyways like I did already with my PSone.
