I work from home 3 out of the 5 days in the working week Mon-Fri and usually do either a day in London or 2 in Europe. I get all the gadgets i need to do my job (laptop, fax, printers, mobile phone, blackberyy, web+ walk card for wireless broadband etc)which is very good. On speaking with colleagues i work with and some friends, most said that they would find this very hard to do due to distractions. I personally find that i achieve more and deliver better and a lot more results being at home than in the office. Do you work from home? What would be your preference if you had one, home or office?

Wow that sounds just awesome. What kind of work do you do? I would like to get into whatever kind of work you do. I love working from home doing what I do now. But working to more stuff online would be awesome.

What sort of job do you do? I would much prefer to work from home, I just wish I could find a real job that would support me enough to do this. Do you know of any such jobs? bearing in mind I now live in Australia.

Home is better but it may have a high cost to you at the office because if you arent seen they forget about you.

I work from an office. You really need lots of willpower to work from home as if I would have been in your place I would never have completed my work as the bed is so near and I am really fond of sleeping.

I've worked from home for 25+ years and tend to envy others who work in offices and have all the contact with collegues. What I don't miss is commuting to the office!! So I think you have the best of both worlds. I quite agree with you that one can concentrate more at home without the interruptions of the office and also that you can vary your work time to suit the other activities in the home. Where I am woefully lacking is in all the modern office-speak. It is a foreign language to me as it usually a case of verbal diarrhoea, using far too many words when one would do. haha
