MICROSOFT or APPLE???which one is better?....

Well i hate APPLE.And i hate those IPODS..they suck.i find microsoft a lot better.more on the technology rather on the outside look.People should look inside the system rather on the outside.cute or not.im looking for better ones.and not for the desigsn.such as the apple computers before.they really suck.great look.but dumb inside!

People who don't know Apple say that about Apple. I have an Apple now, almost 3 years. I wrote for Windows OS back when the 80286 was just coming about. I have been working in Windows since before most of the world knew about Windows as in 3.1. Even OS2 by IBM was better then windows, but IBM was too stupid to market it properly.
I have forgotten more about OSs going back over 20 years then most people know.
An Apple is incredible, much more stable and friendlier then Windows.

That could be, but I know a friend who worked for IBM ordered a PC and asked to have OS2 installed on it. They told her that the installation of OS 2 would void the warranty. Now what is wrong with that.
The average consumer could not buy an IBM machine with OS2, but only with WIndows. What is that? Poor marketing if you ask me.

Doesn't that really seem odd though, that IBM themselves would force you to take that poor excuse of an operating system they called windows back then. Sort of like they were being "forced" to do it. I do remember buying an IBM Aptiva in the beginning of the 90's (91 or 92 I believe) and I didn't have any choice but to take it with windows on it.

well.. if you just want to do simple task, not design, just using os windows. MAC is usually for design purpose. my friend also use apple, OS Mac but he enjoy using it. yeah, some different. even me prefer to use windows because Microsoft windows design for standart level of user. if you want to be a designer, apple is the best choice. that's what i know. :)

Yah, i agree. Microsoft mush more easy compare to MAC. Did you know that Apple can install Windows too??

apple has nice designs.but i stil go for micsoft. :-p.
even if it looks like a boring design.maybe microsoft should make their designs look more better.

i haven't tried using apple mac. i cant compare them. i think most of us here are using windows OS.

i'd go with apple have you seen their touch screen cellphones?! I'ts really cool the way they make things kinda different yet very nice. You should know people. IPOD isn't their only invention

Heh.i Know.Im not interested in their new products.If i like those stuff il rather buy from other top quality products such as Palm,asus,mycom.etc. :-P

Yes, Microsoft is really the best in Softwares. Apple is no match. Its i.PODS & other components are merely eyecatchers but not service oriented & not user friendly.

why not user friendly?they always comment on PC's..Mac also looks like a Pc.If they dont like Pc.why dont they make another kind of computer.

if you ask me personally on any given day I would prefer the Apple Computer not only because it is very good-looking but also because it has a very stable performance. If you look carefully you'll find that even the working of an Apple operating system is a scientific and the system will never bring you work is which will irritate you which is a very common phenomenon when you're using an operating system by Microsoft. This is one of the biggest reason why I do not like the operating system of Microsoft. It is famous because of the monopoly it has over the personal computer. But I'm sure the passing of time Apple will definitely compete and win against Microsoft.

Well, i like both. I like microsoft for their personal computers, their cheapness, and for their tablet pcs. I however loveeee apples simplicity and great productivity programs, and i love their look, oh and i loveeee ipods. ipods rock my socks. i wish i could buy one in all colors, or just get tons of accessories. I guess i'm a microsoftapple girl lol.

Hey what do you really think windows is based on...?
Well if you remember in the 1980's there was this little computer named a mac!!! If you look up your history you'll find that everything microsoft did was based on apples original designs. Also now-a-days the new macs run on the same Intel's that your pc does just with more stability. So in fact they have relatively the same performance except that they don't crash like winblows does! And yes they cost more for that reason alone. So they may not be for everyone due to their price range but if you can afford one you'll know why!!!

i have used mac and its just fine...
in terms of security, mac is better
but most people prefer microsoft because its user friendly
