My mother was put in an orphanage when her Father passed away in 1953 her mother had died after the last child was born any way I was trying to find our family history on my Mother's side there were 13 children and they were all adopted out or put in a home.I knew some of the names of my aunts and uncles but not there whereabouts. My sister and my neice are helping me to find out I never knew my great grandparents or my grandparents a couple of days again my sister called and told me that she found our great grandparents names in the census of the 1920 in Graytown Ohio and it amazed me my great grandparents names are James and Elizabeth Printice and my grandparents names are Charles and Saddie Sparks We will keep looking for the family that we do not know I was so happy to find that info out I wanted to cry. So how many of you know your familys back ground and there names and where they are from

I don't know too much about my dad's side of the family, i don't talk to any of them and haven't for a long time. I don't really think its important to me to know where i came from at this point in my life, i'm more concerned with where i am going :) I think maybe later on in life i might want to look into this stuff, i might find it interesting.

that is fine but I never knew any of my relatives so I guess that is why I find it interesting
