I Don't Buy School Pictures Anymore.

I Am not a photographer, but i am cheap! I purchased photo paper at the dollar store when i saw it there i thought well a buck huh, that's gotta be pretty cheap for this stuff. well i was right it is expensive. There was only like 10 sheets in there, but you know what? That was alot less expensive than paying for school pictures. I had the kids dress nice for school the one morning and had them stand against a dark sheet i had thumb tacked to the wall across from a big window. I took alot of pictures to ensure a good one in the bunch. after they left for school i downloaded them to the computer, adjusted the lighting (auto adjust) and printed 8x10's. Not much of a differance from the school pictures! The tricky part was just getting the right size "head and shoulders" to keep them consistant. you just want the upper half of the chest and leave about an inch and a half from the top of head to the top edge of the paper.
