Write it down and make it happen

I recently read a book titled "Write it Down, Make It Happen" by Henriette Anne Klauser. It talks about getting what you want by using the power of writing. It espouses the belief that if you write down what you want, the universe will make it happen. I actually tried it and it worked. We were selling our house and we were in a time crunch. We need to be out of the house in a month's time and it's virtually unheard of to have a less than 30 days escrow. However, full of faith, I wrote down that the house will be in the market for only a week, that a young couple would purchase the house, and we will be out of it by the end of the month. Amazingly, everything cam true exactly as I have described. The house was placed on the market Saturday, the young couple visited Tuesday, they made an offer by Thursday, by next Saturday we are in escrow. Furthermore, we were in escrow for only 28 days. Strange and weird but true. Does anybody have a similar experience or have heard someone who had? Please share. I would love to hear from you.

It's a very good book. The theory is sound, the writing is clear and the exercises are many. It's based on the Law of Attraction, and I have seen it worked in my life. Happy reading and may you have your dreams fulfilled.

I once heard the power of speaking what you want to happen and really meaning it and saying it with conviction. Eg. I am a good person, I will get a job today, for someone currently depressed about unemployment. I've never heard about the power of positive writing, though.

Putting your thoughts on paper is actually more powerful than just speaking it out loud. Same with setting goals. It is more effective when written down. Try it and you might surprised yourself.

I have already heard someone preach about how to have your dreams realized. It is something similar to your discussion but this time, it involves pictures which you will attach to the wall of the house where you will see them everyday. What kind of house is your dream house? Get a picture of it and hang it on the wall. You want to have a car? Which one? Get a picture of it and hang it on your wall. Get a picture of those things which you target to own then hang each one on the wall. You will find out that you will have them all one after the other. He said that the power of suggestion is very strong. As you see your targets everyday on that wall, you will subconsciously work towards their realization, until you will get them all. I never did this because, I never believed in it. However, with your input, I will give this a try along with writing down some of the things which I will have to accomplish. I have this project in the farm which I am going to give a start next month. Thank you very much for sharing this information and I really hope that this will work for me, too.

Yes, its all about the power of the mind and the belief that we are creators. We manifest what we focused our minds into. Whether we use words or pictures, I don't think it matters. In the final end, what is important is what our energies are focused on. Good luck on your farm project. Remember what you ask of the universe, it will freely give to you.

Did you ever hear of coincidence? The house transaction would have gone the way it did even if you'd never heard of the book and never written anything down. It's an old idea that keeps popping up in new forms. Somebody writes about it and suckers make them rich by buying the books. The universe doesn't give a crap what you write and it certainly isn't capable of fulfilling your wishes.

Spoken like a true cynic. Sure, I have heard of coincidence. But there were so many things that happened exactly as it was written, that it was hard to chalked it up as just coincidental. I agree that there has a been a surge of interest with this kind of thinking especially with the recent release of the movie The Secret. Still it makes you wonder, if there is a lot of smoke, there must be a fire somewhere. LOL!

WOW - I've never heard of that - it sounds incredible! I'll have to get the book. Just in case though, I would like to win the lottery! I would like to win the lottery! I would like to win the lottery! I actually once wrote down a list if things I wanted to accomplish before I die. I have no idea where the list is but I know I have a few things to cross off now, so maybe you're right.

That was actually one of the examples used by the author. A list she wrote a few years ago, and when she came back to it everything has come true. However when you write the list it should not be in the wish format. You should express it in the present tense or even in the past tense as if you are confident that it will happen no matter what.
