My three kids are home from school today, due to a snowstorm we are suppose to be getting. So I'm looking for some ideas of craft projects I can keep them busy with.

Make snow ice cream. There is a recipe on allrecipes.com just make sure that you use the one without eggs in it.if you go and scoop off the top of the snow then it should be good to use. When it snowed here last we had a snow ball fight in the kitchen with me and Jenniffer 2yr old and Lilly 10 months. Of course my kitchen is tile and has a door to the outside.

That sounds like tooooo much fun. Does it taste like ice cream or more like a snow cone? We have an industrial style floor so I think something like that might be do able in our house as well. Now getting it by my husband might be another story. Thanks for the idea.

It tastes like homemade ice cream. If you don't feel like convincing him then you and the kids make up a bunch of snowballs ahead of time and then sometime when he is in the kitchen you guys just get him. Tell him that if he is worried about the floor then this is the first step in mopping.

there is a website and it's totally fun. I did get a lot of fun craft for kids. it's www.crayola.com. The kids that I used to tutor enjoyed it a lot. They have crafts specifically for that age. have fun, and I hope your kids will enjoy it too.

That was a great site. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, just to many irons in the fire. Thanks for that site though. My kids loved it. We are gonna try some of it today and this weekend.

What part of Italy are you from? Have never made it there yet, but if it's the last thing I do I'll make it there.

Paint or color, make a lapbook, make paper snowflakes to hang allover the house, or make paper flowers to glue on sticks and stick in empty egg cartoon crates with green clay.

The egg carton turned out so cute. Thanks for the ideas. I didn't have clay so we had to use play-doe. I don't think their going to last as long. But couldn't get out of my house to get some clay. Thanks again for the help.
