I'm so excited! I just ordered Seasons today to go with Sims 2. From what I understand there is TONS more stuff added to tha game. More career options, clothing and interactions. Anything to have the sims have more fun. LOL!

There aren't a whole lot of new clothes--just outerwear (coats, rain coats, sweaters, etc). There are 6 new careers but I haven't tried them yet. I downloaded it last night from EA and finally have had a chance to play it. I turned my guy into a plant sim and they ROCK! He is so easy to care for and has almost maxed out all his skills while taking care of his little garden.

I think I'm looking forward to be able to garden and stuff. Do you have out for business??? IT would be cool to open a vegetable stand! :)

I have all the EPs. I just expanded my sim's garden so he can accumulate some veggies to sell at a road side stand. I'll see how it works out. I have run a successful toy store at a home business before. It wasn't even inside--all the stands were outside. Don't think that will work too well with Seasons when it gets cold, lol.

Sounds cool. Amazon said that it's been shipped so it should be here by Monday. I'm so excited! Keep me updated on how your veggie stand turns out. I've had an art gallery ourdoors before. Just built one wall to hang my sims "origianl" works of art on to sell. It does work very well.

Oh my god! I am really late in getting the Seasons, I just bought it a few days ago and I am in love with it! I love the idea of growing own crops and the juicer! Also I think the new careers sound a lot better than the old ones and now I am getting my sims into the journalism function, and I got a promotion to a Blog Writer, it just sounds similar to real life and I am really happy with this expansion!

I'll still answer you wondericequeen! :) I have been enjoying seasons. My biggest complaint is people get hot when they excercise to much, or sit in the hot tup too long--to the point they catch on fire if left to get TOO hot! I enjoy playing with the plant sims as well. Those that spray their gardens too much. They can be really easy to take care of, as they don't need to sleep, use the bathroom, or even eat! It's a lot of fun. Good luck with the playing! They'll be coming out with another EP shortly... vacation/traveling one. I'm kind of excited about that one, too! I better start mylotting more, so I have $$ to buy it when it comes out! :)

Oh yes? I haven't got that far to the plant sims! I am exploring the career of journalism and it's really fun for me (this is what I want to end up in real life anyway *laughs*). I do notice that they get hot when they exercise too much! But I haven't made them catch on fire yet *laughs*, I should try and see how it looks like! Yes they are having Bon Voyage next month and I would be happy to get it too! I love the idea of traveling to different places! And I read their website and the sims can buy Japanese dolls *laughs* and I would love that!

I see you started this discussion a week ago so you are probably enjoying your new expansion pack. I got it to and I love it. The only problem is all I want to do is play it and I haven't been getting much housework done. My favorite parts of it is the weather changes and the fact that you have left overs, no more wasted food.

It has been a lot of fun! I love gardening, so that has been a joy. :) I agree on the left overs. I haven't played long enough to have snow, though. I have one neighborhood that is in winter season, but it doesn't have snow. I really enjoy the rain. Kind of fun. At least we don't have THOSE puddles to clean up! LOL!

Yes, it's great expansion, more than I expected. Finally, I don't have to color my backyard to simulate the snow, lol. I adore the winter, especially when snow falls.

I love having snow!! I have decided, though, I need to keep a few trees off my lot, because all my sims want to do is rake leaves in the fall! LOL!!!

I've been playing it for a week... I forgot all about my friends, turn off the phone, thought about Seasons when I'm away from the PC! Haha... I'm an addict in case you might have missed that. New careers includes: Journalism Gamer Musician Law Of course, there's winter clothes and you can grow your own garden (like Sims 1 Magic) and if you create a pond in your lot, you can even go fishing! You can cook your catch for dinner, but don't eat those damn boots! During winter, you can create snow angel or a snowman. Certain time of the day during winter, a fat penguin will drop by and hang outside your lot. Unfortunately you ca't adopt them but you can pet them. So adorable! I'm still exploring the expansion pack but I'm loving what I'm seeing at the moment!

Seasons has gotten to me, too. I didn't think it would, but it is so much fun. I love to garden, and have managed to turn on of my sims into a PlantSim. That is awesome! They don't eat, drink or sleep. Just need sunlight and water. I haven't found a penguin yet, but I haven't spent too much in winter time yet. I suppose I better get back to playing. LOL!!
