I will check it deeper, but so far it looks like a scam to get you e-gold account password- First, yo udont get $1 dollar before you spend at least 1 dollar. Second, the screen where you are supposed to deposit is not https (security enabled), so it does not seem to be a real e-gold screen, maybe they just want to get your password, please do not enter it there. I will chek if this is a real scam

I guess I am a little late in getting here and reading your discussion because there is no such site as you mentioned. This prooves that the site that paid you was a fraud and they were just giving you greed so you invest from your pocket, then they can get back their $1 and more money from you too.
