If you're not familiar with him, Bob Woodruff is an anchor for ABC News. In January '06, Bob was in Iraq reporting from an Iraqi Army convoy when a bomb exploded, severely injuring Bob and his cameraman. They both very nearly died from head injuries. Tuesday's program is his first work since then. The special was about not only his road to recovery, and his cameraman's, but about our soldiers who suffer like injuries, and what they and their families go through. I learned a lot. I'll save my opinion (for as long as I can, anyway!), because I am very curious to know what others think. Did you watch? What did you think?

Yes I saw it. It is a miracle that Bob can even do his job. It made me sad to see some of the injured veterans struggle with getting continuing physical therapy after they return home. I hope that President Bush using as much energy to help our wounded veterans as he is in promoting the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Thanks for your reply. I had never given a thought to the possiblity that soldiers were getting brain injured without getting wounded. We need to take care of these people, every last one of them. They stepped up and risked their lives under orders from the Commander in Chief. If they can no longer serve, or even work, our nation needs to provide for their every need for the rest of their lives. Shame on every last one of us if we let them languish without proper care and good housing.
