Windows vista 64 is really bad . I think we should wait one more year for 64 . Vista 32 is just so so , not much to impress . As for me I would rather put some good themes ,antivirus ,browser on XP . XP is already good enought . Why Vista ? Why ?

Definitely vista changes the way we think the OS till this time .I like many features of vista very much .It is in three dimensional outlook .window xp is some lacking in feature .Vista in one word is the OS for new generation at the broadband age .Also i think that this will change the way we use computer .

vista is so fundamentally flawed i could spend an afternoon posting all the critical flaws and let downs of vista. so you have a fancy new way to look at your desktop you dont even have full rights to the OS you bought or even the software you install on the computer after installing the OS

It comes closer towards Mac I think. That system was more modern already and if windows wants to get further they're gonna get somehow the same system from looks, cause that's the best and most handy system. Why Vista? Because with the new technology computers already went faster and to have all options open te do with that speed and things we needed a new system and that is vista.

ummmm WRONG, so what if computers are gong faster do we have to make a new operating system that chews up resources because we have more? thats a silly and very wasteful way to think

I am completely satisfied with WIndows XP, at least for now. Windows Vista is not only expensive but also it requires good hardware components to run on. So I am not going to upgrade at least for a year.

Woow WIndows Vista.. what a hot subject i can say. I have talked a lot in my area with many of my friends and all of them had only positive thoughts about it. I can say that i was blow off by this new windows system. Some things certainly lack to it but this new look which Microsoft has incorporated in it certainly do the money you would give for it. I have waited this new system for 2 weeks and here i am using it. It was pretty hard for me to buy it because in my area it can't be found. So i had to ask a friend from another part of my country to order me. I am so happy using it and all i have are only words of gratitdue. I post here a short description about VISTA. Windows Vista contains hundreds of new features; some of the most significant include an updated graphical user interface (GUI) and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and completely redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Vista also aims to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network using peer-to-peer technology, making it easier to share files and digital media between computers and devices. For developers, Vista includes version 3.0 of the .NET Framework out of the box. The .Net Framework makes it significantly easier for developers to write high-quality applications than with the traditional Windows API.
