i think sachin should not retire after this world cup.there is no one in the indian team who can take his spot.i think he should continue playing till the next world cup...

even i thought about that buddy but one thing struck me that till the next WC he will be an old bod and his power and his class would not be there and also new players have to b given a chance

Is Sachin retiring after the World Cup, if he is then I'll stop watching Cricket, he is the only guy to whom I pay respect to in the Indian Cricket Team. He must not retire, he should play on and on, He was a great player, is a great player and will be a great player ever. Without him Indian Team is nowhere at the top.

I love this man, He was born on 24th April 1974 in Bombay. Made his Ranji Debut at the age of 14 in 1987 for Bombay. Made his Debut both in tests and in ODIs at the age of 16 against Pakistan in Pakistan in 1989 and is still playing. He is great and did wonders for Indian cricket. He achieved many miles stones in his carrier so far, He is first man to score 10000 runs in ODIs and he is leading century maker in ODIs and also in tests, both put together 76, and also he took more than 100 wickets in ODIs. He is 33 now and he can still play 3-4 years of International cricket and He can make 100 centuries combined in tests as well as in ODIs, Made his First Ton in tests against AUS in Perth, he made match saving innings of 114 on a Bouncy Track at Perth in 1991. Made his First Ton in ODIs against AUS in Kolombo, he made 110 in 1994. His ODI highest score is 186 against New Zealand and in Tests 241 not out against AUS. His best ODI bowling figures: 5-40 against AUS odd runs and in Tests 3-30 odd runs Against AUS. Till now he made 41 Tons in ODIs and 35 Tons in Tests, 76 Half centuries in ODIs and 40 odd Half centuries in Tests. He has Most Man of the matches in ODIs than any one else has. He made so far over 14000 runs in ODIs and over 10000 runs in Tests, at the end of his career he will score over 30000 runs in both forms of cricket. At the end of his career he will achieve: Most run getter in Tests, Most run getter in ODIs, Most Centuries made in ODIs, Most Centuries made in Tests, Most Half Centuries made in ODIs, Most Half Centuries made in Tests, Most Man of The Matches in Tests, Most Man of The Matches in ODIs, Most ODIs played, Most Tests played, Most Catches Taken in ODIs, Most Catches Taken in Tests, I think some of his records are unbreakable. I think no one can reach him he is Sachin Tendulkar
