They are 2 different thing. I would put it this way. Go for cable internet and choose between the wired or wireless option. For the wired one, it is possibly faster and your connection will not break. For wireless, it might be slower, your connection might break periodically BUT you get the advantage of portability and mobility. ;-)

I have cable internet at home, but I also have a wireless hookup for when I want to take my computer to the cafe, and work there. I love being able to have the choice of what kind of internet I want to use. In 2006 I got a new laptop which is capable of handling wireless and cable, as well as dial-up, if I really wanted to use that.

Wireless Disadvantages Signal are inefficient. Because of loss of signals that may cause disconnection. Advantages You can bring to anywhere you wireless internet because signal transmitted through Cellular Network. You only paid for your internet subscription bill. Cable Disadvantages Subscriber must be near from the Internet Provider. The far the subscriber from the Internet Provider the slower the signal to transmit. And you have to pay for the telephone bill and internet subscription bill Advantages Signal are very efficient.
