Am i the only one who hasn't learnt to drive yet?

Sometimes it feels like i am the only person i know who still hasn't learnt to drive yet at the age of 23. I get asked all the time at work when i'm going to learn to drive, but the trouble is although i want to learn to drive, and have done for ages, i jsut can't afford the lessons. Plus, once i have learnt, there's no way i'll be able to afford to buy and run a car! There's fuel, insurance, road tax, mot's and all sorts to have to pay for! But then i think well most people somehow manage to afford running a car. I feela rather left out to be honest! Am i really the only one who hasn't yet learnt to drive?

I have a licence but don't ever drive. I'm just afraid of it. I know that I have some concentration issues and that I react slowly, so I only drive short distances and rarely. Once a year, lol. I don't care, commuting is great in Sweden.

I doubt it, I've tried but managed to fail 4 times so decided to stop. If someone else was trying I would say don't give up as you will pass eventually. My sons 17 year old girlfriend passed her theory test today - about 3 hours ago, she was so nervous and convinced she would fail. She is dyslexic so has little confidence with tests etc She is so releaved. My sister tried 5 times before she passed and she was in her 30's she hates driving but says it gives you a bit of freedom.

I'm 24 and I haven't.
I'm terrified. I was in a bad wreck when I was 18 and now I'm the most nervewracked passenger you've ever seen. It's not unusual for me to scream when things get too tense and I'm scared.
I'm putting it off as long as humanly possible. :(

OK I confess. My name is Connie and I can't drive. It it not because I can't learn. I can. I just never got the time. My husband drives. We have one car. We have 3 kids but he works nights. He is always home during the day. I need to learn. I should learn. I just can't see a reason why I should.
