I was working part time a couple of years ago and I was making about 200.00 a week so I was wondering what I can do to make that with ebay so it makes up for me not working out of the home. I make money off of other stuff online ,but only get paid once a month. I would like to have other income coming in every week. what do i need to do to make more money on ebay. How many items should i be listing.

I am an eBay seller myself I have my owm eBay shop Adam & Isla selling baby nursery items. I can honestly say that $200/week is relistic amount for ebay seller. However it's only achievable if you know your market. You can start your research by visiting the eBay forum, and eBay pulse and just eBay in general. Just start to look around and see what sells. When I started I start with selling stuff I don't need, then I start selling cheap designer clothes that I bought on my holiday in Indonesia. Then when I need more items I have a look eBay wholesaler section and look out all the job lot and try to look for a great bargain. Then I found several nice dropshiper for baby nursery product, that's when I finally decided to open my own eBay shop...Bear in mind though summer time is not a good time for eBay, but still if you do your research right you can find nice item to sell during this period. I normaly go back selling cheap designer item during the summer, but I use different user id name as I just don't want to mix up the two category...GOOD LUCK ...all the best..xx

How did you find your dropshipper? I have researched sooo many with no luck. Most of them are shady and not above board. Either that or they cannot give me a good enough price that I can resell on ebay. do you have a source to find good, cheap dropshippers? Thank you.

You could start an eBay store selling stuff you have or create, if there is a demand for it. Start out by selling old stuff that's laying around the house. There's lots of people making money on eBay selling crafts, car parts, posters...all sorts of stuff.

What if you've already gone through the house and sold stuff? Now what? I would also like to make several hundred a week selling on ebay but don't know what I can buy to resell. Not sure what kind of craft things I could possibly resell on ebay. I'm not that talented. thanks.

Well it's possible. I do know that they sell bulk lots for wholesale on ebay also then you can break it all up and sell it individually. A word of advise do not try for the dvd lots. They give you only old dvds that don't sell very well at all. Been there done that. I suggest you buy as low as possible. I know several people that buy all sorts of things that resell on ebay. Like fabric, purses, shoes, vidieo games and systems.

I really can't tell you how to make that much money as I have only sold a few things on there. I woud suggest you do a lot of research on what items are selling well and buy bulk to resell or just clean out your closets and start from there. Good luck...

That would be the million dollar question: What to sell on ebay that makes lots of money? They do have a list right on ebay of hot items that are selling. Do you know how to make anything? Also collectibles are always a hot seller. Do you have lots of things in your house you want to get rid of? Sometimes those things sell great on ebay. It's just a matter of finding that one thing that works.

Still learning the ropes myself and have also looked into drop shipping. The prices they wholesale at sometimes are already so much higher than what is selling on ebay already. How does one even begin??

Do you do crafts? I think anything that can be sold in stores can be sold on ebay. You can sell anything on ebay.. used books.. dvds.. cds.. If you have antiques.. or things you can buy cheap and re-sell on ebay. Do you have a story written, you can sell that on lulu.com.. I know a person who runs video stores and since there's so much competition, he now buys used dvd's on ebay and sells them in his stores.. Can you sell clothes? come up with a really neat pattern, yet simple and cheap? I used to make a blousy tube top that I always thought I should mass produce (sort of) and sell for like five bucks or something. It's just a strip of cloth long enough to cover a woman from their underarms to her waist, and it's wide enough to be gathered a little bit and elastics worked through the hems.. I get lots of good ideas, but don't do them, though I am thinking of selling on ebay too..

There are community groups on Ebay and they do alot to promote each others stuff. You also have to have things that people want. That is kind of hard unless you have the right information and sometimes people helping you. I too need to invest in more time on Ebay. Will be shortly. It is possible to make that much over a week. Your paypal will reflect that cumulative payments so you can track your success. Good luck with this. Hope to find you in a few groups.
