Okay all you NASCAR fans. Let's hear about some of your fun times at your local NASCAR short tracks. Here are some of mine I visit on a regular basis. One is a huge track that hosts Superbikes,NHRA etc. It's not a short track but I go there sometimes.

http://www.cedarlakespeedway.com/I go to 2 of these a lot. Elko mainly because of their "The Night The Stars Came Out" event. It's a night where they bring in 4 top NASCAR drivers from Busch or Nextel for a dinner with fans, autograph sessions then they climb into the locals Late Models & race against them. I've seen so many drivers, Kasey Kahne, Jimmy Johnson, Greg Biffle,Jeff Gordon just to mention a few. Then Raceway Park has "Friday Night Eve of Destruction. Trailer races Monster trucks etc. Wikld times those nights. Enjoy the sights Race fans. I've seen the fabled Mamba Jet Car, The Green Monster as it's known, many times incinerate cars at Raceway Park.

I just wish they'd hurry up and get a nascar track up here. I still can't figure out why they want to put it clear up by Bellingham. It rains up there more than it does here and it rains here a lot. Yep I live in Washington.

Well good luck with it either way. Maybe it is due to too much rainy weather. How long of a drive is it for you to go to that track then? Thanks for the response also.

D.W. and Bifle were up here almost two weeks ago lobbing for it. Bellingham is about six hours north of me and I live about 40 miles north of Greg Bifle's hometown and 4 hours south of Kahne's hometown. I think they should put it somewhere in eastern Washington there's lots of open land and better weather. this would also Put them closer to Idaho and Montana
I also live about 60 - 70 miles north of Mike Bliss's hometown.
