Is there such a thing as too close of a family?

I'm not comfortable with my fiance's family being overly close. Such as when he goes to the bathroom only in his underwear where his mother or sister could see him. Or the sister wearing low shirts to show off her breasts when she wears it only around the house and not out. Is it just me or does it seem weird? My fiance spends more time home with his mother and sister rather than me or his friends or other family.

I see nothing wrong with it but he should at least close the door to the bathroom.

I actually walked in on his mother using the bathroom two times without closing the door- it was awful!

sounds liek the door needs a lock on it too or knock if it is closed

Oh, there is a lock on the bathroom door- she just decided to keep it open while using it.

I dont think that is weird..everyone is different i guess..I have no probs with nakedness..its how we were supposed to be anyways lol..As long as no weird touching is happening..theres no big deal for me..although i do agree some families are just too close in my opinion..like my sister and mom..they do everything together..shes 30 yrs old and she still has my mom go with her to the doctors..!! and when my sister is sick..she goes to my moms house with her daughter thats 8 and spends the night..and many many other odd things..I just dont get it..helloo time to grow up! lol!

That's exactly how sometimes I think. My hunny's mom cooks for him and needs his company all the time. Even for going to the store that's just around the corner.

Yeah that would seem weird to me too. I had a boyfriend like that once, who seemed to be overly interested in hanging with his mom and sister. It was weird, even weirder than what you described. WE went out for a year, but I eventually had to break up with him because I knew that in the long run that I could not deal with that kind of behavior.

You are right, some families are a bit weird. I don't know if they are just such a close family, or if they just are very immodest people. My boys and I ended up spending the night with some friends one time, and when I woke up in the morning, the 40-something year old woman was sitting watching television with her teenage brother and his friends wearing nothing but a longer shirt and a pair of panties. I would think that she would have had enough modesty to at least make sure that her panties were covered up around a bunch of young boys, but I guess that maybe it made her feel young.
