Lots of people that I was brought up with have told me how much Ive mellowed with age, (I aint that old too) and this got me wondering..what makes you chill out as you get older? Is it just maturity? Some folk even worry more but I know that Ive personally got more and more mellow as time goes by. Is this true for most of us?

I find myself thinking that all the time. 10 years ago I could deal with just about anything. Now I don't understand music, peoples thought processes, what's wrong with our youth, etc. So if you can call that mellowing than yes we do.

I have no idea what it is either. I have found that as each consecutive child gets to the teenage years I am more relaxed with them and able to trust them more than my first child. Though my first child when she was a teen was rather a handful :) . I think it is because you are able to not stress about things so much when you are older as you have already been through it and you know the routine.

I guess I have chilled out a little more as I get older, although I am still as crazy as a coot sometimes. I guess the wisdom of age gives you the tranquility to deal with what the world throws at us
