Every Christmas I buy myself something special and say that it is from my Mum and Dad who passed away a few years ago, but because of circumstances I couldn't afford to buy what I really wanted, a portable DVD player so I thought I would hold off until I worked up enough money here in Mylot, something to encourage me to work for a goal well Thanks to Mylot I finally got it yesterday and I love it, so thank you, thank you, thank you Mylot and all my friends who helped me along the way.....

i am really sorry for what u hav gone through ..and i can totally understand as i lost my dad when i was 8 years old...and since then my life had been real misery had it not been my mom who worked hard day and night to make me come this far ..now i too want to earn some extra to help her out ...and i think mylot will help me

Yay, that is awesome! Mylot is good to get cash out of, even though it takes a while grrr.. lol..

oh its wonderful leny, I was only going to get a 7inch screen but when I sae the 10inch screen I went over the budget, but I love it I can take it anywhere...

Congratulations!!!
I always believe that perseverence pays off in the end. You were determined and you did it.I bought a book of poetry by a fellow mylot member with my first mylot money and she is going to send me the book today..and signed may i add..soi am equally happy with that.I hope you have a great time with the dvd player and i will say a prayer for your parents and you!! Way to go gal!!

Good on you lilaclady what a great insentive for you to work harder at earning here at mylot and a way to remember your parents that is sweet, a great idea...
I brought a key chain guitar watch through ebay using the money earnt through mylot and I was so happy when I received it and it is a reminder of the time and effort I put into mylot really pays off :)

Congratulations Lilaclady. You have done well. It is lovely when we finally get something we have been saving for. It is also a wonderful idea you have of buying a gift that would have been from your parents if they were still alive. I am sure they would have gotten you exactly the gifts you selected.

That is a wonderful idea. I like the fact that you purchase things and consider them gift from mom and dad. That is a wonderful way to remember them and show tribute to them. I think it is sweet. I am glad that you got your CD player.

This is a very novel way of remembering your loved ones! And you have an item that ties down three lovely memories for you as well -- honouring your parents' love for you and yours for them, celebrating your myLot earnings, and getting something you really wanted. Congratulation. And have fund with your DVD player. I have a combined DVD and VHS player. I am a movie collector. Have about 300 in my bookshelves. So I need both of those. It´s handy to have both of them in the same machine. I will bring these with me the day I have to move to a home for older people and see movies all day long instead of sitting in my chair doing nothing.

Thats AWEOSOME!! i never thought of doing that! christmas is so close now, and it wouldnt work for me but i have 8 months until my daughters birthday and i really want to get her something special.. i htink that i will hold off on payment and work at earning money for that instead of "just earning extra money" it might actually make me work a little harder too at doing so...
Im sorry to hear about your parents.. my condolences.
