I love nature. I love to walk in the woods and enjoy the scent of the great outdoors. I love to sit on the porch, smell the flowers, watch the bird and wildlife in my yard while listening to the river softly flow on by. I just love everthing about this wonderful world that Heavenly Father has made for me to enjoy.
I am very fortunate to live in the country where I can enjoy these things on a regular basis. I have found that connecting with nature helps to relive stress for me.
No matter where you live, you can enjoy nature.
1. You can sit near a window and watch the birds or a tree sway in the breeze. Sit and just imagine yourself at your favorite nature spot.
2. Get comfortable, take some deep breaths and connect with the part of nature that you can see or hear.
3. Imagine your feet touching the earth with the sand, water, mud, clay or whatever you enjoy. I love to sit on a rock and dangle my feet in the river or walk in a clay ditch. I just love the feel on my feet. I remember walking in the meadow behind our home, as a child, and picking violets while eating wild strawberries. I can still remember the scent.
This is just a few things that will help you destress. I know that it sounds weird but it works. I have taken biofeedback and the lady who taught me how to do it was so amazed that I was able to bring my blood pressure down so quickly. She ask if she could use my imageary with her other clients. She later told me that many people benefited from my imagery. I used nature, the things that I wrote above. I also used horseback riding on a mountain top with the wind blowing in my hair. I hope some of these help you to destress and keep stress from taking over your life. You have the ability to control how you deal with stress. These methods help me, they may not work with you.

Yes I love the Nature to and I love walking through quietness where you can only hear the Birds and the slight breeze. I also used to love sitting in my Garden at night in the Summer when it was all quiet. It is very relaxing and peaceful.

My favorite place is the beach. When I am stressed, I play a cd of the ocean waves lapping at the shore. I close my eyes and I can feel the ocean breeze gently blowing my hair from my face. I can smell the salty air, feel the sand between my toes, hear the gulls as they fly across the sky.

It is amazing how many people do not know this. If it is hard to imagine or you live in a city with no trees and not much nature you can get CD's with nature sounds on them. Also having a fish tank in your home is destressing. have you ever wondered why so many doctors have them in their waiting rooms.

I love to spend all the time I can outdoors when the weather permits me to. We have a huge area of woods where I live and I get to see alot of wild life in our backyard all the time, even in the winter months. Turkeys, deer and the such. In te summer I like to walk in the woods in the afternoons. It's always so peaceful and relaxing for me.

I love the fresh scent of the outdoors. As much as I can, I try to get away from the city on weekends. I just lounge and relax, watch the sights and sceneries as they unfold. I also love the beach. The serene ambience enables me to think and to reflect on what has been going on in my life. I also like zoos. I've visited a few and will never get tired of checking it out. Keeping in touch with nature keeps us grounded and reminds us of how beautiful our life is.

Some, love the nature, or that one which has remained, I, live in a province where there are still cultivated fields, at few km, fews have hills and rivers, animals, but I am there have a dog have lived alone with him for 12 years, is as my son. Unfortunately the man has ruined natuira, he knows it that we are worsening, but neswuno does nothing, for the money ... ... ... in fact the nature is avenging, hole of the ozone, the glaciers that he disfano, anomalous etc. waves. God is right
