My best one is.... Remember, Red. Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good think ever dies.

If you ask me what my choice is then the first thing that comes to my mind is the phrase on the holy bible that is given to Andy by the jailor. It says "Salvation lies inside". The thing that impressed me most about this phrase is that in different frames of reference the phrase has a different implication .Firstly, it absolutely justifies the whole plot of the movie and secondly its the holy bible which is more than obvious. The sledge hammer that's hidden in the bible eventually helps Andy flee in fact redeem him from the Shawshank prison and in fact redeem the prison in itself.. Man, that was one hell of a splendid movie.

Yes, that truly is the most memorable dialogue. I actually got three more: That was the longest night of my life. I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams. Hey, you know, I found this for you - http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/shawshank.html Enjoy!

I like when he says that everyone here is innocent or something like that when a new guy ask what crime they're in for.
