If you saw someone drop 100 dollars on the ground and they didnt know they dropped it would you return it to them..or would you pick it up and keep it..thinking it's there bad luck and your good luck? I myself would return it..I had something similar happen..A man lost his check and I happened to find it..it had more than 100 dollars and several thousands.. I never saw the man again...but my conscience sure felt good:)

I would definitely return 100 dollars if I found it lying on the ground and I saw who had dropped it. I suppose the REAL question would be what if someone dropped a bag holding a lot more in it. What if I saw someone drop a paper bag, and when I picked it up, it held five thousand dollars. Would I be as honest? I don't know if I would be or not. Somewhere deep inside, I have a feeling everyone has a price. I know that's rather cynical, but it is how I feel.

If I knew for certain whose it was, yes, I would return it. I would want this done to me if the shoe were on the other foot. Besides, you reap what you sow. Now, if I didn't know whose it was, I would say Thank You Lord -- I needed that.

I would return it myself. Only because that money is that man's hard work and effort. If I was so greedy for money, or was less fortunate, I would imporve my life so I could afford to loose $100.00 :)

At first I would think of keeping it. After all, 100$ is a lot of money. I would be able to enjoy it without thinking about how hard it was to earn that sort of money but ultimately my conscience would get the better of me and I would return it. After all I was brought up with all these lessons from childhood.

You are so right ..when one has nothing..to see something like that would be so tempting..Yet I think God would repay you a hundred fold for returning the money!

It is a matter of confidence and conscience. If I return the money notwithstanding I did not receive any reward nor I did see the person at all thereafter, my conscience is saved. Conscience will definitely ameliorate one's physical, mental, and intellectual capablities. When I return the money Confidence is showered on me. You may return 100 dollars truthfully. But never you can purchase Confidence for 1 million dollars, or say, for any amount. Therefore, to satisfy the confidence and to invoke confidence from others, it is better we rightly return other man's money or asset to himself.

if the person was still visible, then i'd give it back. however, if no one was around, then HECK YEAH!!! i'd pick that bad boy up and start thinking about what kind of new flip-flops i could buy with my $100! (not that i would spend all of it on a pair of flip-flops...) take care!

i have a feel that life has vicious circle means what you do it comes again in the form of good or bad so why to do cheating, deception be truthful, honest, nice, and humble you get back all positive. so i would return it than keeping it who knows those 100 dollars become 200 dollars for me to loose.

I would definitely return it. I once went to get change for work at the bank inside Walmart. And while there also made some purchases. I didn't even realize that I had left the money bag behind in the shopping cart. The bank called me. Two young boys who were gathering carts found it and took it to the bank and they thought of me. Luckily because I didn't have identification in it either. I was so thankful for the honesty of these two young boys.

okay, if i SAW the person drop it i would return it. what goes around, comes around. Now, if i FOUND it, in a parking lot completely empty. no one around. and i waited for awhile, that may be another story, in which i would probably give that money to charity. I didn't earn it, it wasn't a gift. Or i'd call the police and say i had it. something like that, now say if i found a wallet with money in it, and it had an address on the license, or something similiar, i would find them and give it back, or just mail it back. My morals wouldn't allow me to do anything different.

I don't think there is any wrong in keeping something found in a parking lot..but the example here is supposing you see someone drop it and you answered it so well;)+

My conscience cannot bear to steal the money especially when I know who dropped it. It's not my money after all then there is no pain on losing it in your hands. I don't think I can sleep well if don't return the money to its rightful owner. After all, it's better safe than sorry.

By right, if you really spotted that person dropped the money, then pick it up or approach to him/her the money. After all, it could be his/her's hard earning for the day.Well, if find the dropper was not around the site, then pick it up and put it into your possession.Otherwise, it may go to other people's hand if you don't pick up.

If I saw the person drop the money I would definitely return it to them. I found some blank checks on the ground in the parking lot of Wal-Mart some months back. As there was no one around I took the checks home. I ended up mailing the checks to the owner the same day, as I didn't want them having to worry where their checks dissappeared to.

I would return it because I would maybe get a reward or a thank you. Because why would you want to keep something that was not yours. Maybe they didnt know that they dropped it and what if they needed it for something then maybe you would do a good deed about getting it for them. Or I would turn it into the cops and see if someone claims it or not. Because I wouldnt want to keep something that is not mine. Because alot of people do work for a living.
