Well cup is on vacation this week already, but the Bucsh series heads south of the border. I'm very disappointed in the commentators they chose for ESPN's coverage. They are extremly monitone and don't seem to have a love for the sport. Rusty does alright but he can't carry the whole show.

I am so glad that you wrote this becasue I thought the same thing. It would be good if they could get a crew that feeds off of each other and has a good time (Like the Fox Football Crew, they get along good and show enthusiasm). I think that they're monotone too and are kind of boring.

Want some more bad news they are suppose to cover 7 cup races on ESPN in the later half of the season and I think those are the same guys that are going to Cmmentate on ABC for thelast ten races of the season. UHG!!!!!!!!!!

We got some of the ESPN feed for last weeks qualifying through TSN here in Canada. Not only is the crew sadly lacking (who thought Rusty Wallace would make a good commentator?) the setup they use to show speeds etc is just a waste of space, literally! I enjoy watching racing not the stats and ESPN has more space given to speed, etc than to the actually filmed coverage. I didn't watch any race coverage. I'm not sure we even got any since there were other sports on TSN that more Canadians will watch than a Busch race. I'm certainly not looking forward to the ABC section of the cup season if this is the coverage they plan to bring. But then again I can't stand Myers or Despain either (haven't watched INC since AB left). The way they ring the experts in - I'd much rather listen to the drivers etc talk than these "reporters" who just don't seem to be in touch with what a fan wants to hear. And somebody please tell Larry there is no such word as hisself and it's McMurray!

LMAO what you don't like "MacMurry" how about when they try to say Gillilan. I am not fond of all that junk they put on the screen either and thier camera crews leave something to be desired too.
