well in the USA we start shaving at like age 14 or so, but if i remember correctly just make sure you have plenty of shaving foam and make upward shaves in the same direction each time.

Also make sure (or tell her) to not put too much pressure. You don't need to press hard with the razor, put barely touching the skin. I used to have bloody messes when i shaved too. If it continues she may need to use an electric shaver which doesn't tear up the skin.

Make sure she's using some good shaving cream if she's using just a razer. Without it, the dry skin can easily rip up and bleed. Shaving fast with a sharp razer can also lead to another bloody mess. I'm no guru at this either though. Hehehe.

thank you for sharing! il tell her about it. she has tried veet and intuition? it's a kind of shave that has a moisturizer in it already. its a good product though but it definitely breaks the skin making it so itchy after 2days..

you mention above that shaving cream is expensive...try using some hair conditioner, thats what i usually use and it works really well. another thing is GO SLOW! no need to rush, that just leads to cuts and a razor burn. someone above also mentioned not to put to much pressure..too true! the blade is just meant to skim over the skin. dont ever press down, a LITTLE BIT of pressure when you pull the blade in whatever directions is fine, but very very little is needed. i cant remember what the exact benefit of it is...but i remember my mother telling me to always shave last..wash everything else first..that way the hair follicle or the skin or something relaxes in the heat?? cant remember, but it does seem to make a difference. and dont keep using the same razor for too long. ANY sign of rust toss it, they say your only supposed to use it like 3 or 4 times then get another, but the damn things are too expensive for that..i use them until the first little dot or rust shows up. a dull blade (if you've used it over 10 times its most definatly dull) will cut and scrape much easier than a new blade will. if you ever get a chance take a look at the edge of a new razor blade and one thats been used a fair number of times, under a microscope!! horribly jagged looking! its amazing we all arent slicing ourselves to ribbons the way they look LOL! hope something in there helps!

Hi. pinagpala. She should use a mild and thick shaving cream that is made for ladies. She should shave close and slow. Never fast. I also think that she should consider using a wipe off shaving cream that will properly remove the hair off of her legs. Tell her to never shave while in the shower. The water runs so fast then, making shaving brisker. I usually will shave while I am taking a bath in the tub. This way, I won't shave too fast.
