Bathing - My son in the bathtub fully dressed
United States
March 2, 2007 1:09am CST
The other day i was sitting in the living room with my son who is almost 3. He was naked( hes always naked, cant keep clothes on him) and had a cup of water. And way he starts sprinkling water on his privates. When i noticed this i asked him what he was doing. He responded with, Im watering it so it will grow big like daddys. They had bathed together that morning. It was the silliest thing i had ever heard him say and couldent stop laughing. What are some of the funny things that your kids have said to you? OR funny things that they have done?

Oh like you I have a 3 yr old red head little girl and she is such a character. Some days I just look at her and think, "Where in the heck did you get that from?" Her daddy is in the army and she thinks he fights aliens. Most of the time she has an attitude as if she was a teenager. I went into her room one time and she asked me why I was in her room. LOL

My son was 5 when we had his little sister. The one day she was fussy and he said "Mom why'd you have to go and lay a baby?" living in the country he knows all about farm animals.

I know children can be really quite.... they are really funny at times....and what makes it more funny is that they such things....without any expression on their face....their expressionless face, rather plain face, makes us laugh all the way more..... but seriously man, that was in itself a great job to post such a unique post.... That is hilarious...and I'm sure that your hubby was really happy to hear that...I know mine would be, lol, if we had a son, and he said the same thing...children are just so bold and unfettered in their speech and thoughts. I have heard the craziest things, and, some kids can really embarrass their parents. Especially, when they say things in public that should not be talked about, lol.

I love how he just speaks his mind, its something we encourage, No matter where we are, hes done a few funny ones in public too, mostly people laugh at them with us. After all who can blame a toddler for the things they say :) Its adorable

My son is 8 and he absolutely hates when his teeth get loose and have to be pulled. The other day I could see that one was just ready to come out, it had been loose for awhile and it was sticking out. He won't let me near him if he thinks I am going to pull it so I told him I just wanted to see how loose it was. It was so easy, I got it right out. He went to the bathroom to rinse his mouth then he came out and said "You lied to me, don't ever lie to me again." He was so sad but it was so funny, I told that if I didn't lie that tooth would still be hanging there.

they really say funny things because they are so naive and so innocent. their mind is not polluted yet from the realities of life. they are full of imaginations too.

That was so cute! This past week my children and I started a new tradition where we write each other letters, and mail them, so we can all get something positive in the mail. My daughter is five, and my son is six. My daughter is just learning to write, so I suggested she draw pictures if she cannot spell something. Then we all got situated to write our letters to each other. My son, parked himself on the kitchen floor, my daughter on the living room floor, and I on the recliner. We got busy writing our letters, and my daughter ran over to me and told me she was finished. I told her I was surprised that she finished so quickly, and suggested she work on it a little more. She insisted she was finished and wanted me to look at it. I took it in my hand, opened it up, and saw a great big letter "B". She'd finished her letter, alright.

Hahaha that was so cute! Children are always curious to find out things and they learn things quickly. You will need to explain your son between boys and girls. Funnily enough the boy will say that the girls have break theirs. Little children love to play theirs (especially boys with bouncing part) but you'll need to warn them that it won't become their bad habit. When I visit my uncle's house, his four year old son just coming out of bath and running around naked. His mother quickly told him it's shameful and he was keep running around, refusing to wear clothes. Well his father got him and quickly dressed him. Man that was unforgettable moment I've seen.

Actually,I also have a son and he is 3 years old already too. He had done many funny things also..But when he had done things that I know it is wrong, I immediately talk to him and tell him that it is wrong.. Actually when kids done things that grown up people has done, it is really funny, but we should let them know that what they have done is wrong, so that it will not be installed in their mind when they grow up..We should correct it while they are still young...Kids will always remember it..

My 2 year son loves to watch "Cops" with me. Now he sings the "bad boys" song all the time. Some sy maybe he shouldnt watch this show. Im not usre. I think he now is going ot grow up to be a police officer. Considering he now yells "get on the ground!!!" and arrests everyone who comes over. :0)
