The university certifications and academic excelence is importent in life up to some extent, but it's not the exact thing which is needed in the life. More than fifty percent of the successful people were poor at studies. The difference was, they were determind about themselves and they had some confidence in them. When you try your level best at your studies, then never worry about the exam or the failures. Be precise in convincing your parents about your sincere efforts although not successful. While you are studying you have to think and set the direction of life that what exactly is good for you or where exactly you are skilled, which in turn would help you to take you to the success ladder. Taking more attempts can also be seen as a subject reviewed repeatedly! Wishing you a great successes in the life which will fade your failure memories forever!

Could it be you were too stressed to perform? You mentioned that you really put in a lot of effort. Do you "know" the answers yet cannot seem to remember them? If this is the case, chances are that you are too stressed. You need to relax... I know exams can be very frightening and everyone has had their "fair" share of terror. Breathe easy and take it easy. If you really don't know the answers no matter how much effort you have put in, then it could be your way of studying is wrong. You need to seek help from your teachers or your peers who are proficient in those subjects. Don't be afraid or feel ashamed to ask for help. Ultimately, you are the one who has to take the exam and you are the one whose future is going to be affected by the exam grades. Stay cheerful, take heart. ;-)
