'Holi - the festival of colors - is undoubtedly the most fun-filled and boisterous of hindu festival. It's an occasion that brings in unadulterated joy and mirth, fun and play, music and dance, and, of course, lots of bright colors to make a festive graffiti on every heart. '
unlucky me!! i can't play with colors, it makes me breathless and uncomfortable. however, i enjoy every bit of it , seeing others smudged in colors....i cannot but dream about the most colorful person in my life...
whom do you consider as the most colourful person in your life?? pls share your thoughts.

bong and roo, both are darlings. lucky you, no wonder they are the most colorful person in your life. i really want to smudge them with reds, yellows and masgenta......i wish i could.

Wow! You sketched out such a beautiful picture that I want to get out and start splashing colours Right now!!lol There is no other festival that makes me happier and I am So glad it's just 5 and half hours away!!!!lol.I might as well get started from midnight.
Hey,asthma? My counsin(bro) also has it,but it doesn't stop him from using the colours,even though it's severe for him.I love the balloon part and love it even more that no one can scold or shout at me for that ,LOL.

I wish Holi was celebrated more often in a year,like 365 days ?? LOL ,nah, make it 366 for leapyears.

LUCKY YOU!! hope you had a colouful, funfilled, naughty time yesterday. previously, in my formativecperiod i used to play a lot. i was a prankster in my own right and with a huge fan following in the form of kids below 10, i would never miss any oppourtunity to befool the ppl around. and as you have rightly pointed out, Holi has had no one in family running with bad mood day. it's such an elevating, boisterous festival!!
the spirit of Holi is , according to me, the most beautiful and who can miss out on those bhang's impact--sweet, naughty and one of its kind.

my dear friend, I learnt about Holi while reading a book written by Vikram Seth..in Italian the title was "The right boyfriend". I loved the book because it brought to me the colours and perfumes of India..and there was a day they celebrated Holi in such a funny and childish way that I cannot help laughing and laughing ...the characters themselves kept such a deep remember of that day that they cried when recalling it after years of sorrow...so thanks for reminding me of such a spire of colour and happiness that this day brings to the world..

yes, that was THE SUITABLE BOY of vikram seth. it am glad that you liked the book, even i liked it. yes, Holi is indeed a great festival of mirth, fun and offerings. its nostalgic and great binding forcecaswell.
