My hubby gets to come home for a week!!!!

I am so excited! For those of you who know...my husband has already gone on to Florida to start his new job while me and the kids stay in Texas until school is out. Well, he has been gone since December 10, 2006 and we haven't seen him. He called last night and said that his company is paying for him to fly home on the 14th and he gets to stay until the 20th!!! LOL I am so excited! The kids can't wait, either. We have missed him so much and it will be great to see him again. He missed Christmas with us...he missed our son's birthday and his own birthday along with Valentine's day. The best thing is that it is our daughter's birthday on the 23rd so we are going to have her party on the 17th. This way he can celebrate her bday with her and our family. :) I am so happy!

Oh that is sooo nice! I can only imagine how ecited you must be. You and your children will probably be counting the days and marking them off a calander awaiting the 14th! I can't believe your hubby didn't even get to be home at Christams! I just have one question, how on earth will you go without mylotting for 6 days?!! And, I'm telling you right now, if I see you on myLot during those 6 days, I will know for sure that your addiction is worse than mine! I'll have to help you find a 12-step program there in Texas !!!

LOL I am sure I will still be on here just maybe not as much. He and the kids will be together a lot, I am sure. :)

You will have such a great time. I remember when my partner went on tour for nine months and he got the oppotunity to come home. It was like starting the relationship all over again. I was so excited to see him and the kids were over the moon. What made it so special was the fact that he had taken the time out to come home and be with his family, even though it meant a long travel for him. Its something I will never forget.
I hope you really enjoy your time together, they say absence makes the heart grow fonder, well it really does. When you look back you will treasure this time.

It must be so hard to be away from him for so long. I couldn't imagine going through what you are right now. Especially through the Holidays. Enjoy your time with him sweetie!!

I am happy for you; you sound so excited! Too bad he had to miss some major things, but for the sake of making the family life better in the long run, I'm sure it will be well worth it. Hope you have fun while he's home!

Thats really great. Its hard when a family has to be split apart but sometimes we have to do it to give our chlidren a better life. I hope you have a great time and wish your daughter from us.

I am so happy for you!! I know how hard it is when my husband is gone (he is in the military), it is especially hard on the kids so I know your can't wait!! Enjoy your time with him!!!
