Bilingualism

Do you speak more than one language? If you do then what two or more languages do you speak and where/when did you learn them. If not, then did you not take an elective foreign lauage to complete your high school credits? Have you just forgotten what you learned there or did you just ditch that class a lot?

I speak English, Filipino and two Chinese dialects. This is because I a Filipino of Chinese descent. I learned Filipino from the people around, Chinese Fukien from my parents and grandparents, English and Chinese Mandarin from school (I studied in a Chinese school). It's always an advantage to know more that 1 language.

I speak french and englsih. French is my first language and I started learning english at school when I was nine.
At 11-12 years old I went to a special to learn english. We were doing 5 month of english and then 5 month of acadamic. it helped me a lot.
I have no problem understanding english, but some speaking and writing. I'm getting better in writting.

I speak two languages on regular basis, Hindi and English. Former being my mother tongue and other one I have ben taught from my childhood, for the sake of more access to outer world and communicate with people.
I know Sanskrit and Urdu too. Learning Spanish, Italian, French and have to ( read want to) learn many others from here and there:)

I speak Filipino, english and chinese. We speak chinese and filipino at home, and I learned the english at school. How about you. You did not mention about your language. I want to learn 1 more language but I dont think I can in my age.
