I've tried about a million (;-P) and i still can't find one that i like. is there really a difference between a $30 mascara between a $10 mascara?

The only mascara I use is by Loreal. I have very sensitive eyes, and I believe most of their mascara, if not all, is especially formulated for that. It usually costs about 8-11 dollars for one tube, but I swear by it. It gives my lashes extra length without all the messy clumpiness. You can't even tell I'm wearing it because it looks so natural. Don't bother wasting your money on super expensive brands that promise to deliver something they can't. But my advice is, if you find a mascara that works for YOU, just stick with it. I have two kinds by Loreal...one for length, and one for volume. I use the one for length more though, the latter for special occasions.

I have tried lots of different mascaras, and my favorite by far is the one with two wands, one side has white microfibers on it that you you apply to lashes first and then the other side has the usual black mascara on it. I think that maybe Maybelline first came out with this idea, but other brands have copied their idea since. I have used 2 different brands and they both work the same--very good. So, I would recommend this product, and it is rather affordable, definitely under $15.00.

beautiful - beautiful want
I usually spend about $20. This is because I refuse to be ripped off by some of those designer make-up prices! But I do think mascara is one of the things where quality really matters- don't buy 1 too cheap or you won't get a good effect. You can get good 1s from Maybelline and Loreal for $12-$24.

no...i really think it all depends on how much u put on and ur technique of putting it on. u dont want gooey mascare either, the kind that is really thick, make sure its not thick and its easy to put on. after uve put it on, make sure u let it dry a little then take and eyebrow brush to seperate them by combing through them. put another coat on and comb them again, whenever i put mascara on i do this, my mom taught me to do this and it works=)...if that is some of ur problem this should help.

thanks, i'll try that. i have a friend who uses a q-tip to thin the lash. i guess that a mascara brush would be more effective and less messier. i think that i will try to use the technique with a really thick mascara. the gooey ones are so hard to handle. it makes you look as if you have spider legs lashes!

use less mascara during the day--it runs easily in the ehat. Instead dot liquid liner between lashes for a more natural look. Try: ARTDECO Day and Night Liquid Liner which you can buy at Rustan's
